Voor een nieuw op te richten experimenteel koor - DE ENKELING - zijn wij op zoek naar mensen die met ons willen zingen. Vanaf 26 augustus organiseren we wekelijks bijeenkomsten in de Slash Gallery / WORM.
Voor wie nieuwsgierig is naar de inhoud van deze avonden organiseren we twee open zangbijeenkomsten op 24 juni en 1 juli. Iedereen is hierbij welkom, met of zonder zangervaring.
Na deze proefbijeenkomsten is ons doel om een min of meer vaste groep te vormen waarmee eenmaal per week wordt gerepeteerd.
We gaan aan de slag met verhalende nummers en meer abstracte stemstukken, geschreven en geregisseerd door Roosmarijn Mascini en Wies Arts.
Uiteindelijk vormen we met deze stukken het verhaal rond het karakter van De Enkeling: DE STEM UIT HET DIEPST VAN DE AFGROND.
Gaandeweg laten we ook ruimte voor het ontstaan van beeldende elementen en zullen we zo nu en dan mensen van buiten uitnodigen om met hen een bijeenkomst te wijden aan bijvoorbeeld percussie of beweging.
Ook zullen we regelmatig naar buiten treden met optredens op verschillende locaties.

We are looking for people who are interested in trying/ lending out their voices in our new experimental choir DE ENKELING. In a more or less fixed group you will be contributing to a project that incorporates song and abstract voice pieces, as well as movement and visuals.
Altogether these elements will form the story DE STEM UIT HET DIEPST VAN DE AFGROND (THE VOICE FROM DEEP DOWN UNDER).
We gather weekly starting the 26th of August on Mondays from 19-21h. For the curious we organise two open rehearsals before we actually start. On the 24th of June and the 1st of July, from 19u-21h at the address mentioned below
Most of our songs are written in Dutch, but we will work with a songbook which you can follow along. There will also be more abstract sound pieces where there are few to no words involved. Commitment and enthusiasm are more important than vocal/ language abilities.
From time to time we will invite guest artists for a conversational exchange, as well as bringing the performance out in public in different venues.
